Key West|Westin Resorts

 Key West|Westin Resorts

If you are looking for a 4 diamond hotel, then you will want to explore the Westin Key West Resort! This hotel sits about a block from Mallory Square, enabling guests to walk to all the major attractions in Old Town Key West. What I liked about it, is you park your vehicle in their garage and everything is right there for you to enjoy a relaxing vacation without a lot of worry on where to park, where to drive to, and what to do. It’s all right around the corner from the Key West Westin Resorts.

When we were there, we watched a few cruise ships coming into and leaving port which you can see from the hotel. This is a full service hotel and has guest rooms and suites sitting right along the marina. What a vacation experience! This hotel has an outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzi and a fitness room and massage studio that you can access 24 hours a day. Continue reading

Restaurant Certificates

 Restaurant Certificates

I have just had some great experiences with a new site that I ‘ve got to tell you about! Restaurant gift certificates are a great way to save a few dollars when you are traveling. Let me tell you about my savings so that when you do decide to go to the Florida Keys, you can save some money on your way there, as well as in the Florida Keys.

When I first found Restaurant.com, I was planning a trip to Gettysburg PA. So, hubby and I took our grand kids to see a place called Land of the Little Horses. So, I checked out places to eat and found a great place. Of course, skeptical as I am, I called the Restaurant myself to make sure they took the certificates. The lady on the other end knew exactly what I was talking about but knowing it was a legit place of business to get certificates made me feel better! I sure didn’t want to get to Gettysburg and find out the certificates were a rip off! Continue reading

Glass Bottom boats

If you are in the Florida Keys you will be able to find information on taking a tour on a glass bottom boat. In Key Largo, for instance, at the John Pennekemp State Park, tours leave on a large air conditioned cabin, which makes it a very comfortable ride.

Just what is a glass bottom boat? The hull of the boat has glass panels from which you can see everything in the water. The captain will take you over coral reef where you can see underneath the water up close without getting wet! Fish, like parrot fish, zebra, barracuda, snapper, nurse sharks, sting rays and grouper can be seen. You will see some beautiful and colorful coral like the purple fan, a very known soft coral that is very dominant in the Keys.

Keys Hotels-Sugarloaf Motel Review

So far I’ve been talking highly of all the things going on on our Keys Vacations. There was one incident which I’m going to tell you about that was not ok. Actually, I got pretty fired up at one point. I don’t mind tipping anyone but when they try to get me to double tip them, I have a problem with that.

So here is my story: Continue reading
