Diving Museum in the Keys
If you are interested in diving, then perhaps you will want to take a look at the Diving Museum in Islamarada right around mile marker 83. I like to tell you directions by mentioning the mile markers because when you are in the keys, you will find that most people give directions according to what mile marker is in the area.
So I did a little research and to help you save a few bucks, I found a coupon for a few dollars off. Just click on this link to get $2 off at the museum. All you need is one coupon as they will take off the two bucks for each person in your party.
The Diving Museum is just a bit of history about mankind’s exploration of the seas and thanks to technology, scuba inventions for diving. It is a fascinating story of the military’s history of diving, along with commercial diving and recreational. There is a collection of diving helmets and artifacts that they say is the world’s largest.
Here’s another great thing about this museum: There are certain times of the year that you can get in FREE. The Diving Museum in the Keys is considered a part of the Blue Star Museum program where active military and 5 of their family members can enter FREE from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Here’s another Freebie for you. On September 25, it is Smithsonian Museum Day and you can also get in FREE but you have to print out a coupon and guess what, I have the link , just click here.
You will have to fill out some info but that will only take a moment and it is well worth the free coupon. The cost to get into the museum normally is $12.00 for adults, $6.00 for kids frrom 6-11 and under 5 is free. I added a video I found on there website for your enjoyment.
